HOW does God speak to us when we are being weak? The other
day I had an experience of being spoken to through His Word, and it was so
clear, I simply must share it. I was feeling tempted to give up battling with a
project I had begun. I knew I should carry on trying, but the load was becoming
too much. Luckily, I picked up the Bible at 1 Corinthians 10: 13 and there it
was - it spoke to me so clearly, as if He was answering the very question on my
mind. It said out loud, “The temptations in your life are no
different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow
the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will
show you a way out so that you can endure.” Yes, of course. I hear your
Word, clear as a bell, and it gives me hope. I am not alone in this - and You
will show me the way to endure.
