The whole caboodle

“I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him.” – Ephesians 1: 19

MUCH of the time our expectations of God are too small. In fact, there is no limit to the fullness of life His Spirit can give to true believers. Smith Wigglesworth once wrote: “We must understand that God...wants to bring us into perfect life so that we need never go outside His Word for anything.” And Galatians 5: 22 -23 clarifies that the Spirit equips us, as nothing else can, to cope with life – with the greatest joy, deep peace, endless patience, lasting faithfulness, loving kindness and amazing self-control. Surely, we should realise that if this is the value that God places on us, how much more should we treasure our own lives, and the lives of those we encounter, and not waste any of the time we have left here on wasteful thoughts and deeds? Let’s concentrate on Him.
