Loving kindness

“Instead, be kind to each other, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.” – Ephesians 4: 32

IN a world wracked with evil deeds, Christians are called on to do good things for others, to create a climate of caring in the communities we occupy. So, at every opportunity, every day, ask God to help you cater for others’ needs, to show you how to love and encourage those you meet, and how to ease their pain. Perhaps you can simply be kind, do them a favour, advise them, thank them or give them help using whatever resources God has blessed you with. Through Jesus, we are enabled to live such kind and helpful lives. God has given us His Holy Spirit to live in us and to give us love and forgiveness to know and to share; if we feel it, obey it and live by it, He will feel at home in our hearts
