The lighter side of life

“For once you were full of darkness but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and true.”  - Ephesians 1: 8

PRAYER THOUGHT: God isn’t interested in teaching you more about worldly things; He has equipped you to cope in your own way, and He already knows your wants and needs. But what He wants for you, is to know that your life’s experiences can be so much brighter and rewarding if you learn to see them in the light of Christ’s loving ways. In these dark days, He also wants you to know that He brings light and understanding through His written Word, the gospel. You don’t need to wait till His still, small voice pierces your overcast conscience, or till His Voice echoes through the dark clouds – turn to the Bible, it gives light, strength and understanding. Glow in the fact that in His illuminating love, He sent His Son to die so we can live forever; that He then sent His Holy Spirit to glow in us, and that He then left us His Word to continually illuminate His all-seeing ways.
