Promises to trust

‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and unsearchable things, which you do not know.’ – Jeremiah 33: 3

I SET out to bring hope into a so far pretty cheerless 2022 by renewing our trust in the promises of God. At no time in our lives has there been a greater need for clarity and understanding of worldly events that touch us all. God knows we need help! He has given us His written Word to read and live by at all times, to help resolve this planet’s pain. Also, if we trust His Word and to pray it over our needs, the Spirit of Christ will guide us. But we must acknowledge that He is our refuge, our strength – both personally and in the world at large. His Word says, “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him, must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him” (Hebrews 11: 6). Part of that reward is that His promises can nullify our problems – if we have faith. Call on Him in trust, and He will show you “great and unsearchable things” that can bring peace and understanding. If your problem seems insoluble, seek Him in faith. His promises will prevail.
