Future light

 Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” – John 8: 12

GOD chooses our life’s seasons, as He chose our time and place. When our lives change, He has planned it and He will re-equip us for what lies ahead. For many Christians, a new season is coming in a world where the weather is reaching extremities and the future seems dark and worrisome. We must not grow weary of waiting for Him to usher in our change, but we must prepare in faith and patience until He shines His glorious light on whatever road He has chosen to guide us into the future. The Christians’ task is to see the world – and our individual seasons in it - through the eyes of God. So fix your eyes upon Jesus, who said He was “the light” that enables believers to see the world and its changing seasons, not in darkness, but in “the light that leads to life”.
