PRAYER THOUGHT: We gotta
keep enduring. Life these days can require us to perform a tour-de-force; a
Comrades, a Cape Epic, a Boston Marathon, a Tour de France, a long
distance-obstacle-strewn test of strength both physically and emotionally. But
God, our spiritual coach and mentor, tells us that by persisting in Him, He
will get us through in the long run, not just in life’s little sprints for
victory. Faith that can endure, is what is needed, and to this end He fills us
up to endure with love at the watering holes of His Word, of our prayers, of our
praise and worship, and of our fellowship with His fellow Christians.
