“The master answered, ‘You did well. You are
a good and loyal servant. Because you were loyal with small things, I will let
you care for much greater things. Come and share my joy with me.’” – Matthew
25: 21
LITTLE squirrels bury acorns that – unbeknown to them – can grow
into giant oak trees. So don’t be dismayed if some of the great
things you see others doing, make your own little lot in life seem rather tiny.
Pray for an expansion of your territory by all means – but humbly remember that
kindness in small things can one day matter a great deal, both to those you
touch and to the Lord. Don’t ignore the acorns. Small beginnings prepare us and
can bring great reward, even though patience is essential if we sometimes need
to wait to see God’s glorious promises being fulfilled from our own often small
beginnings..
