“Fear of the Lord is the
foundation of wisdom.
Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.” –
Proverbs 9: 10
DECISIONS,
decisions; life is a series of ‘what-if’s’, ‘should-I-or-shouldn’t-I’s’ and ‘what-now’s”.
But who can we trust for advice? We live in a world where trust must be earned and seems to be in short supply
and trying alone to cope with
the unknown is not God’s plan for you. Solomon, the famous king who wrote Proverbs, knew exactly where trust begins: “Trust
in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5). God
wants you to know Him, and to learn from Him what is righteous and proper, so
that your decisions are good. Like kiddies need a sound family upbringing to
enable them to cope, God gives wisdom to those who depend on Him. Seek Him. Ask
Him. Rely on Him.
