Keep the faith

My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?
Why are you so far away when I groan for help? - Psalm 22: 1

WHEN we stand alone, bereft of support, love, and in a slump, it can be hard to feel our faith for a living God who we can turn to. In trying circumstances, emotions guide our feelings. But our faith is not an emotion than can fluctuate. Faith comes from the heart and soul and is instilled by the Holy Spirit so that it can guide your thinking. If you are going through a tough period, the essential first step is to retrieve your faith, turn to God and put your complete faith in Him trusting His promises. Job knew his own sins, and doubted his worth, but He kept asking in faith of the God who lives. In His own time, God will assure you too. None of us are sinless.  Keep your faith in God’s forgiveness and be rewarded. (…and I suggest you read the book of Job.)
