“My people will live in safety, quietly at
home. They will be at rest” – Isaiah 32: 18
IT is a
biblical fact that God our Creator actually wants us to live a quiet life. Not
dull, or boring or lonely, but peaceful and without undue stress while, at the
same time, being productive. But we live in history’s most time-demanding age,
where rushing is routine, and chaos is common. We need to ask God to take over
the stuff the clutters our mind and to seek rest for our souls in Him. Psalm 91:
1 tells us, that “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will
find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Declare that He is
in control and let His Spirit fill us with hope and the rest that comes with
peace of mind. His calm, care, and comfort will see us through these worried,
hurried times.
