IN this day and age the need to pray for God’s peace upon your life,
your family, friends and nation is obvious. Pray against fear. Many of us have
been up close and personally touched by violence, crime or hurt. Just
yesterday, a member of our family had his home broken into. Thank God they are
safe. While the forces of law and order and private security precautions are
essential, it is with the God of peace we must ultimately protect our peace of
heart and mind. Pray that He will protect us, defeat criminals and the cruelty,
lift us above the imperfections of the societies we have built, forgive us our earthly
sins, and renew our courage, hope and peace through faith in Christ.
