Family matters

 “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.” – Romans 8: 14

MOST of us are probably too modest – or cautious – to call ourselves a “man of God”, or a “woman of God”. Yet the Lord Himself has no hesitation claiming everyone who is led by the Holy Spirit as members of His glorious family. We would do well to reflect often on the blessings this brings as we submit our flesh to the guidance of Christ’s Holy Spirit who lives in us. His spiritual gifts are given to us in different measure, but each is for the good of all and allows us to step out and live fuller, joyful lives by using His power and vision to help one another – in big ways or sometimes small – and to please the Lord.
