Equipped to cope

“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” – Galatians 5: 22 - 23

OUR God is bigger than we know. Apathy, self-doubt, and lack of empathy, sometimes render us idle or mute when it comes to helping others. Society, including family and friends, sometimes makes demands that many of us Christians find too testing to cope with. We must not rely just on our natural reactions  and resources. Christ Himself suffered deeply and was glorious and victorious by relying entirely on God the Father. And that is why He sent the Holy Spirit to enable us to follow His example so that we too can bless those in need who touch our lives. He equips us to rise these challenges by using His love, joy, deep peace, endless patience, lasting faith, loving kindness, and amazing self-control. And that applies to whatever circumstances life’s walk throws at us.
