Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and
the life” – John 14: 6
THE scripture above is one I turn to
for courage and inspiration whenever life starts to look gloomy. Jesus came to
be the light in a world dominated by dark forces. His words here remind me that
Jesus is about living life on earth and about eternal life. His way, His truth, and His life conquer the
forces of worry, doubt, failure, fear, and temptation that surround us. If we
follow His way, the truth of His life lived for us anoints us with the God-given
powers of love, purpose, and discernment. He makes life worth living.
