I say to myself, “The Lord is
my inheritance;
therefore, I will hope in him!” – Lamentations 3: 24
GOD is our source of hope. His hope can
brighten a gloomy outlook; it can break any earthly chains that hold us back;
it can sustain those who are emotionally drained and comfort those in grief. If
we maintain our hope in God, our spirit cannot be broken. My point today is to
focus – to keep our minds fixed – on the hope that God is directing into your
life; it restores you. Don’t let any deplorable acts and opinions of other people
deflect His intentions. Does this mean life will be instantly impeccable? No,
but if you have inherited God’s spirit, it does mean that you have value,
hope and the power to overcome.
