“I pray for you constantly, asking God,
the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual
wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.” –
Ephesians 1; 16 – 17
THERE is a time for growing, and then
we must pray that we reach a time of glowing – of seeing, and knowing the glory
of God in all things. As much as we need to strive and pray to grow closer to
God and see the light of His love in our lives, so we must give thanks and
praise when the time comes for us to be able to enjoy - and to reflect - the
knowledge of His glorious glow. As Ezekiel wrote, “All around him was a
glowing halo, like a rainbow shining in the clouds on a rainy day. This is what
the glory of the Lord looked like to me. When I saw it, I fell face
down on the ground…” And God’s glory shines on in today’s dark,
stormy world.
