“I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that
you’ve received it, it will be yours.” – Mark 11: 24
THERE
are some “ifs” attached to being Christian. Perhaps the biggest “if” of all was
stated by Jesus. When you pray for something, you will receive it “IF” you
believe that you have received it. In other words, God answers prayers of those
who believe while they are praying that He has heard them and will provide –
even if, before praying, you thought it was impossible. Too often we pray
without real hope, let alone with confident belief. “Nothing else has worked, perhaps
I should pray” - that’s hopeless prayer. So, if we pray with a doubting,
disobedient mindset, we’d better think again. God IS our miraculous
provider.
