“For the scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water
will flow from his heart.’” – John 7: 38
LIKE rock pools lying still and dormant at the foot of the cliff of
life, our spiritual lives need refreshing from God. The Bible says that when
Jesus spoke of “living water,” He was referring to the Holy Spirit, who would
be given to everyone believing in Him. And so, when our pool of faith is
getting low, we must ask God to deepen it, to replenish our anointing and let
the river from heaven flow, tumbling down the cliffs of life, into our little
pool until It bubbles and overflows, running downstream to others waiting who-knows-where
for the tributaries of living water to reach them.
