A SLIP of the tongue can slice deep. The Bible is emphatic about the power of the tongue to do good or harm. That's why we need to think before we talk and make sure that the words that pass our lips have the power to build people up, not tear them down; to create success, not crash in failure. Whether by lack of forethought, or deliberate intention to deceive, a tiny spark can destroy a forest. But words that help and heal are” pure... peace loving…full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds…and always sincere” (James 3: 17}.
