Humility’s reward

“When pride comes, then comes dishonor, but with the humble is wisdom.” – Proverbs 11: 2

PRIDE is a highway to confusion and shame in our complex world. To rather have dignity than shame (dishonor) in the eyes of the Lord, we must be humble and know how desperately dependent we are on God to walk in His light and know the truth. Self-pride is an evil at the root of the most of the world’s conflict and strife. Knowing that God gives His grace to the humble, is the beginning of wisdom and can dispel the dark clouds of confusion and strife. Many of the proud believe that God is just a crutch for the weak. Being humble is knowing that you need to lean on His spiritual crutch.
