Washed clean

“..let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.” - Hebrews 10:22
WHAT a wonderful feeling of release. To know that God has washed away every stain and disgrace, is to know the freedom of love. As long as your heart and your conscience are nagging at your self-love, you are unable to live in love of God or man. Why have I failed, why has He failed me; I should have known/done better; why oh why, woe is me?

As the scripture says, go right into the presence of God with a sincere heart. Regret and repentance go hand-in-hand. Give it to Him; you are forgiven. You still won’t understand all the plans God has for you, especially the ones that filled you with remorse, for you are only human. But take heart and be encouraged because you can now see clearly through the eyes of faith in Christ who died to make us clean.
