“I have come that you might have life
– life in all its fullness.” – John 10: 10
WE began this year’s encouragements with a word about the
need to make 2022 a year of absolute obedience to God, a year of faith in every
facet of our lives without fear of where it may lead us. It is a year in which
we must put into perspective the many evil, misguided or self-serving
strategies that vie for our attention and compete with God’s greater plan for
our lives. Our God is great, and He has magnificent plans for us. But we must
not allow our minds to be preoccupied with the problems of life that can shrink
our devotion. God made us to experience the fullness of life, not to be lost in
a sea of problems. We pray for His Kingdom to come and His will to be done, and
for us to be part of getting it done.
PRAYER
THOUGHT: I worship you Father God and pray that Your Spirit will help me
avoid being led astray and strengthen me to fulfil Your expectations of me in
helping to see Your will done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen
