Hi there – A word today that I trust will help us to look at what God’s ultimate plan for us is:
“Forgetting what is behind and straining toward
what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which
God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 3: 13 – 14
TAKING to heart the social meme which says, ‘I’ll never ever
again be as young as I am today’, I came to realize that we must all press
ahead, and not let the past hold us back, or slow us down. The time left is
precious. Whether your past haunts you with dark happenings (as in Paul’s case
where he had persecuted Christians), or fills you with longing for lost
delights, it must not be allowed to hamper or harm the remainder of the race
God has set before you. God wants us to retain what is precious, His blessings
that live in us and surround us, and move ahead with faith knowing that for the
faithful the greatest blessings are yet to come.
Life is good. Relax.
