Beyond measure

 

“Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.” – Isaiah 40: 28

WE can’t imagine, or even try to understand, how big God is. He’s everywhere, He’s in the past, He’s here today and He fills the future to come. As the scripture above says, no one can measure the depths of His understanding, or – for that matter – the depth, height, breadth, or width of His creations. But we must all ask ourselves, how big is He in our lives? If we make more room for Him, He can fill our lives with love, joy, peace, wisdom and hope. He is gigantically bigger than any obstacle we might face. If we humbly enlarge our focus on Him, on His gospel of Christ, on His grace, and His promises, He will protect our hearts and our minds from the weight of the world we are struggling to carry on our own.
