New beginnings

 “As Saul turned and started to leave, God gave him a new heart, and all Samuel’s signs were fulfilled that day.” – 1 Samuel 10: 9

MY goodness, time does fly. And if we don’t want to be left behind, if want to live each day, and each newly arrived year, to the fullest, we must be refreshed. God is the Giver of life, and the Giver of spiritual powers, so it makes sense that He can give us new heart, new purpose, new beginnings and a fresh start if we need it. By His grace, He sent Jesus to give us a second chance and none of us ever reach a stage where the life He gave us cannot be renewed and strengthened. Wherever you are on your own earthly journey, whatever your age, or your stage of weariness, failure, loneliness or need, you can get ready to start anew if you trust Him, go into His presence and seek the guidance, strength and new heart of the Holy Spirit.
