Your pick me up

Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses… For when I am weak, then I am strong. – 2 Corinthians 12: 9 – 10

WHEN we don’t want to carry on, when we lose hope and want to give up, the Lord will pick us up and carry us over the line. In the scripture above, Paul was saying that his (and our) own strength is not always enough. But when we are weak, God will make His strength available to us if we follow Christ. This applies both to individual situations we face, and to life itself. The secret, whatever the circumstances, is to concentrate not yourself, but on your faith in what God will do to strengthen you and see you through.
