“There the child
grew up healthy and strong. He was filled with wisdom, and God’s favor was
on him” – Luke 2: 40.
BECAUSE God knows that we forget
and get distracted, He sent the Holy Spirit to “remind you of everything
I have told you” (John 14: 26). Whether or not you have to stick a
reminder note on your fridge about what groceries to buy, or the dates of
family birthdays, we all need a reminder note on our hearts that states, “God’s
favor is on me”. Don’t doubt it; don’t forget it. Because God gave us
Jesus, His Highly Favored Son, His favor is on us too. And, as one of the many
apples of God’s eye, you are closely cared for. You can expect protection,
expect good people, good deeds, expect answers to your prayers, strength in
adversity, and expect lasting faith that will please Him, and ultimately perfect
your salvation.
