A better place

“But they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.” – Hebrews 11: 16

WHEN God sent Christ to the world, He made it a better place; it’s never been the same again. Nicky Gumbel says that the greatest turnaround in history took place on the cross. What looked like utter defeat was an historic victory. But mankind has brought us to the brink again where much of the world needs to be turned around. We are once again looking for “a better place”, as in the scripture above.. Whether it be by taking away war, defeating crime and corruption, bringing a mighty Christian revival, or the transformation of the lives of those living in suffering, poverty, and fear, God can do it! But we must pray for it – specifically that God release another turnaround so the His people may again experience the fullness of His life and power in “a city He has prepared for them.”
