Over-riding joy

“For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” – Romans 14: 17
THERE is no greater joy than a life that is lived walking with God … today and every day, NOW! If we are strong in our faith and love it, we should spread that joy and treat others with love, patience and self-restraint. We are all different as individuals, with customs and cultures that might irk others or seem wrong. But joy is a gift of the Spirit that can over-ride most difficulties Christians may encounter with each other. Remember, its all about living and sharing a righteous life of joy, not about “what we eat or drink” (which divided Christians in Paul’s day). If God tells you something is wrong, avoid it, but don’t become “holier than thou”. Love God and His people. Let Him be the judge.
