All you need

"By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life… These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires..." - 2 Peter 1:3-4

WHAT has God given us? "Everything we need." What has God enabled us to do? To live Godly lives and “escape the world’s the world’s corruption”. Wow! Your future is not determined by who’s your uncle, or by how much you can pay for special favors, or by your political connections. The power of God Almighty’s divine nature is within you! So, "Stir up… the… gift of God… that is in you" (2 Timothy 1: 6). Be always aware of it, don’t waste it! God’s standards are high, so the more we get to know Him, the more of His divine power you have at your disposal. So, speak your faith, "By the grace of God, here I go!" He has equipped you, whatever the world around you thinks, says or does!
