The true you

“But they are only comparing themselves with each other, using themselves as the standard of measurement. How ignorant!” – 2 Corinthians 10: 12
IT’S okay to sometimes feel inadequate. It helps us to strive and strain to be better, for life, after all, is a self-improvement marathon. But in such times of self-examination, it is vital to remain rooted in what God made you to be. Be yourself, and don’t let comparisons with others turn you into someone you’re not meant to be. You don’t have to measure up to society’s norms, which are a confusion of often false and fluctuating fashions anyway. The measure that matters is what God wants you to be; He knew and chose you long, long ago – and He strengthens you when call on Him.
