“ For
I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. – Jeremiah 29: 11
GOD’S plans for us sometimes clash with our own desires. But His plans
are the best plans, even if our lifestyles need serious adjustment. Once He has
led us down His chosen path, our obedience will determine the outcome and our
faith will dictate whether we are able to commit to Him every aspect of our
lives – our hopes, fears, troubles, talents, weaknesses, minds, bodies – our all.
If His course for you brings fear or sacrifice, remember fear is like a rocking
chair; lots of movement, no progress. And if God is using it to humble you, then
know that excising the ego is God’s way of making space for the fulness of His
love and the talents He wants you to use.
