Little ones in big need

 “But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.” – Matthew 18: 6

LET’S turn our thoughts and prayers today to little children. In a world where millions of young boys and girls are growing up in poverty and where child abuse is just a routine headline, let’s unite in praying for their protection and redouble our love and guidance for those we know and can reach out to. Read the scripture above – God is serious about this. And let’s also be inspired by their simple, wide-eyed child-like faith when told that Jesus loves them, for that is what makes us the children of God (see Galatians 3: 26). We must seek them out, show them love in whatever form we can offer. In return we will be blessed.
