A very special hand

 ‘Everyone who heard about it … asked, “What will this child turn out to be?” For the hand of the Lord was surely upon him in a special way.’ – Luke 1: 66

YOU can’t begin to imagine the breakthrough, the success, the joy, you could give and receive if God’s hand was on you and your family and all you did. God has given each of us just a certain amount of strength, of ingenuity and insight, to get things done. But in this complex, troubled world, we need His mighty helping hand in very special ways. Elijah saw a little cloud “the size of a man’s hand” (1 Kings 18) and advised “go, before the rain stops you.” It was God’s hand in the little cloud, a small sign that saved many. So, commit all you do to Him – and don’t be surprised at the way His hand chooses to guide you. “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” (1 Peter 5: 6)
