Stick it out

“The testing of your faith produces endurance.” – James 1: 3

Endurance means to grin and bear it, to not lose heart whatever that takes. But it’s just another word if you have to deal with marital strife, bankruptcy, cancer, addiction, the loss of a child or a major career setback. When others may shake their heads and wonder why you‘re still hanging in there, endurance becomes both your anchor and the accelerant to get you over the next hurdle. So stick it out, knowing God gives you His comforting presence and the promise that  when your faith is tested He will strengthen your endurance so you will cope until His purpose for you is achieved.
