‘“And “don’t sin by letting anger control
you. Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for
anger gives a foothold to the devil.”’ – Ephesians 4: 26 – 27
DAMN it, it’s so easy to get angry. I’m vulnerable in crowded parking
lots where everyone makes their own rules - and “what do you think you’re
doing!” Watch out too when hearing the news of the government’s latest gaffe-of-the-day.
I worry about homes where busy-busy people need to relax but where stressful
auras can mar their happiness. To prevent such stress from controlling us, we
must ensure that God’s anger-alert system, the Holy Spirit, is central to
everything we do and with us wherever we go. God wants us to be happy and has
given us the gift that can calm and bring joy at all times – even behind the wheel.
