“Suddenly,
the walls of Jericho collapsed, and the Israelites charged straight into the
town and captured it.” – Joshua 6: 20
HAS your heart
and soul ever cried out for a breakthrough? Your life needed a new door to
open, but you were facing a brick wall; you felt locked out (or locked down).
The good thing about knowing that you need to be lifted or given extra strength
to get over it or through it, is that we often turn to God; He
can do things we can’t even dream of. In the case of Job, God doubled His
assets when He repented and prayed; when Moses cried out, He parted the Red
Sea; He collapsed the walls of Jericho after Joshua obeyed His instructions. So,
whatever your obstacles, pray. Continue to seek His Kingdom in faith, and remember
the promise, “The Lord hears his people when they call to him
for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. (Psalm 34: 17)
