A promise fulfilled

“Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true.” – Joshua 21: 45

AS time flies by, the truth of God’s Word is becoming more and more apparent to those who can see. Ancient prophecies about events that mark the last days, are a prime example. Much of it is being written about and debated as evidence piles up about the prophesied hypocrisy, deceiving trends, about false Christs, about “signs and wonders” to deceive believers, about lovers of money, traitors, slanderers, blasphemers and “wars and rumors of wars”. These disturbing global truths are undeniable; but don’t let it get you down. Instead, let it be a reminder of the scripture above – not a single one of all God’s “good promises” was left unfulfilled! Then read His good promise in Isaiah 41: 10 – and be encouraged: “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.  I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” What matters to us is the fact that God’s love, peace and salvation aare also becoming more and more real and apparent to those who believe His promises.
