“However, the helper, the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything. He will remind
you of everything that I have told you.” – John 14: 26
I NEED to be reminded of many things. Internet passwords etc are my
downfall, so they’re all jotted down on my cellphone’s memo pad. Others have
reminders stuck on the fridge door – a doctor’s appointment, a kiddies’ party,
whatever. But when we’re busy, or when events trouble us, it is much, much more
important to heed the Holy Spirit’s reminder notes on our hearts about the
blessings in our lives. We so easily forget about the good things we have
experienced – the joys we have known, life itself, our families, our loved ones
and friends past and present. And the best reminder of all – that God is with
us to guide us in all things until we meet in Christ.
