Take courage

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
    Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
    I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. -Isaiah 41: 10

WHAT can we do when tragedy  leaves us feeling broken? Sadness or mourning have their place. But then we must get on with life. The past has gone, and we can’t go back; that’s impossible. But the voice of God calls us into a brighter future, strengthened by Him and His army of angels. Begin by reminding yourself of the promises of His presence, His help, His comfort and His heavenly plan for you. In the darkest hours, the promises may not readily ring true. Then you must feed your own soul by believing in God, His goodness, His kindness and – take special note – that the scripture above promises that He is YOUR God and you are in HIS hands.
