God lives in them. And
as we live in God, our love grows more perfect.” – 1 John 4: 16 - 17
EVERY February 14, as little
red emoji hearts, red roses and champagne dinners warm the hearts of couples
around the world, I find myself writing a reminder that the greatest
encouragement God ever gave to mankind is His own love for them. “For God so
loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son…” He didn’t just
send us a Valentine’s card. He sent us Jesus, and His all-embracing love to
share with others. We must remember to truly love Him, the life He gave us, and
those who share our lives. Loving Jesus is a special privilege that allows all
our love to grow more perfect day- by-day, not just on Valentine’s Day.
