what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward
the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ

TO
linger in the past limits us. Whatever we miss or whatever our regrets,
memories can hold us back if we cling only to them. Love what has been good and
what has helped build you, but a better future can’t be created just on
memories, however precious. We must press on in hope and faith to the greater
things God has prepared for us and for which we are being equipped., even If
they are to test us. The scripture above goes on to tell us to eagerly await
our Savior, who by His power can completely transform our earthly lives. Trust
Him.
