“For I know the plans I have for you,”
says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you
a future and a hope.” – Jeremiah 29: 11
PRAYER THOUGHT: Lord, we
know the world’s plans are at absolute loggerheads with Your good plans for us;
this is a constantly apparent reality. And we also know that we often make
ourselves guilty of setting our own priorities, instead of trusting in Your ways.
When I begin doubt your plan in my life, help me remember that Your Word
(Jeremiah 29: 13) goes on to say that if I look for You “wholeheartedly”, I
will find You; when I pray, You will listen. So fill me Lord with hope for the
future You have planned for me and to look for Your hand in all I set out to
do.
