“Whoever helps one of these little ones
because they are my followers will truly get his reward. He will get his reward
even if he only gave my follower a cup of cold water.” – Matthew 10: 42
THE simplest kind deed, done because we follow God, can bring us great
reward. How much we love God can be measured by how we treat others, and the
humbler they are, the better for us. Jesus’ example of a cup of water for a
thirsty child, is the spiritual equivalent of quenching His thirst. God sees
all our little kindnesses; it doesn’t have to be a huge project that goes viral
on the internet. Find what needs to be done at home, or close to it, and be blessed.
