“You, O God,
provided from Your goodness for the poor.” – Psalm 68: 10
THE season of giving is upon us, so we are reminded to remember not
only our loved ones, but also the poor. But we are all in need – some of us
desperately so – when it comes to spiritual strength, so think also on the many
promises in God’s Word that are meant to be a blessing for the exact needs of
your heart when it is heavy. Pray the promise you need, believe it and it will
be fulfilled. At the same time, pray for the will to be giving this Christmas
and help Him to fulfil His promise to provide for the poor.
