“By his divine power, God has given us
everything we need for living a godly life…” - 2 Peter 1: 3- 5
WHAT is the gravitational pull in your life, the force
that can’t be resisted? Is it to live a divinely directed and protected life or
is it the earthly ‘good life’? The constant daily enticement is to do almost
anything it takes to achieve worldly gratification. But the bible tells us God
has already provided, but we must choose if we want to experience the gravity
of Jesus’s power and love! It’s up to us; like Adam, we can go for
self-satisfaction or, like Jeremiah, we can choose God’s way and share in His promise:
“For
see, today I have made you strong
like a fortified city that cannot be captured,
like an iron pillar or a bronze wall.
You will stand against the whole land—
the kings, officials, priests, and people of Judah.
They will fight you, but they will fail.
For I am with you, and I will take care of you.
I, the Lord, have spoken!” – Jeremiah 1: 18 - 19
