GOD’S intention for us, at its simplest, is that that we should know
right from wrong, good from evil. The secular view is the opposite – anything goes.
Many worship other gods and call it ‘multi-culturalism’. They abuse power and
called it ‘politics’. Some get rid of unborn children and called it ‘choice’. They
pollute the air with lies, profanity and pornography and called it ‘freedom of
expression.’ By God’s grace, He has enabled us to understand and love His Word’s
truth in all things, even though the air itself is thick with false values. It
sounds so simple, so easy, but take comfort in His promise that we will not be
overcome by evil.
