Forget the rubbish

“Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ.” – Philippians 3: 8

PRAYER THOUGHT: Father God, knowing you ought to be my most prized possession, a treasure that blesses my life whenever troubles befall me or when I feel left alone. Father help me know this always and don’t allow me to let other worries come between us. Help me recognize the blessings You have given me and to view as rubbish anything that tries to separate me from the love and comfort of my relationship with you. Amen.
