PRAYER THOUGHT: Those who
know the comfort of having a close relationship with Jesus should pray today
for those who battle to know Him in true faith. Ask God to help them somehow
come to an awareness of the truth about Jesus and about the reality of Your
love for us. Help them – in the words of a popular hymn – to know, “What a
friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear”. Help them know that
You are not just a man-made religious idea, but the essence of all they hope
for and need, their Redeemer who is with them always, and that they can “take
everything to God in prayer”.
